If you made a mistake when selecting a table number or your customers have decided to switch tables, you can easily change the table numbers from your Android Register.
Note: You must have the settings for Table Numbers already enabled in your BackOffice and Android Register.
Changing Table Numbers
On your Android Register, select a customer if needed and the items to the order.
Next, tap the number above the checkout list. This we then open a popup window for you to assign a table number:
Rename the text to the customer's current table number they're being seated at. Don't forget to Save!
You should then see Table Number (e.g here is Table 1) and in brackets will be the number of items in the order (e.g. here is 4 items in the order).
To change the table number (e.g if the customer switches table or you need to move the customer), tap on the number again.
The popup will appear again for you to edit in a new Table Number (e.g. here we've changed the customer to Table 4). Remember to Save.
Finally, you'll see that the table number now shows the new number you edited. Table number here is Table 4, and there are still 4 items in the order:
