Introduction
The user interface (UI) for our Android Registers has had some design improvements! Our aim was to improve in-app navigation via unified fonts and images, organized content and enhanced functionality for existing features.
Let's take a look at what's new:
i) Android Layout - Edit Tile Color
ii) Sync
iii) Customer Profile
iv) Transactions - Online
v) Payment Options
vi) Shift Report
Android User Interface Updates
i) Android Layout - Edit Tile Color
Previously, we used to have just 9 colors for tiles.
What it looked like before:
Now, we have 19 vibrant colors! If you had applied the previous colors to your tiles, they will be replaced with the new colors automatically, once the app is updated.
What it looks like now:
Previously, when syncing your app to the BackOffice, there was no indication of the completion progress.
What it looked like before:
Now, we have a percentage indicator, to help you see what percentage of data has been synced!
What it looks like now:
Previously, we did not have an Address field nor any Order History field.
What it looked like before:
Now, we have included an Address field and Order History field!
What it looks like now:
Previously, we had a separate tab with a list of Online Transactions, with an instant 'tap to apply' function.
What it looked like before:
Now, we have a pop-up window for you to manually confirm your selection by clicking 'Apply'.
What it looks like now:
Previously, we had no grouping for non-default Payment Options (created by merchants).
What it looked like before:
Now, any non-default Payment Options (created by merchants) are grouped as ‘Others’.
What it looks like now:
Previously, the layout for Shift Report had everything displayed on the screen.
What it looked like before:
Now, we have compartmentalized the information in their respective tabs (Summary, Cash Drawer, Payments) for better visibility.
What it looks like now:
We hope you enjoy and find benefit from these changes!
