Add Notes to Your Receipts and Kitchen Dockets
In your BackOffice, go to Settings > Receipt Templates, and:
- Tick 'Show Notes of Ordered Items' if you would like notes to be shown in the half- or final receipt.
- Untick 'Show Notes of Ordered Items' if you would NOT like to show it.
- Kitchen Dockets will ALWAYS show notes so the staff knows what to prepare.
Note: Make sure the right store is assigned to the respective receipt template.
In the example below, 'Show Notes of Ordered Items' has been UNTICKED in the BackOffice. The note provided for the order is: 'THIS IS A NOTE'.
It will appear in the kitchen docket (the first sheet that gets printed) for the staff so that they know what to prepare, but will be hidden on the half-receipt and the full receipt for customers.
