This article is to guide you on how you can add custom notes to the kitchen dockets.
Add notes on your Kitchen Dockets
If you do not want the notes to be shown on the half-receipt or final receipt, kindly untick Show Notes of Ordered Items (this is found in BackOffice > Settings > Receipt Templates).
Remember to make sure the right store is assigned to the respective receipt template.
As seen in our example below, our note here says: 'THIS IS A NOTE'.
It will appear in the kitchen docket (the first sheet that gets printed) for the staff so that they know what to prepare, but will be hidden on the half-receipt and the full receipt for customers.
