Introduction
The StoreHub Prime (D2) is a dual-screen Android point of sale device. It is often paired up with a router and a LAN thermal printer for receipt printing.
If you need some help in setting up the POS terminal, please read on.
Set Up StoreHub Prime (D2) POS Device with LAN Printer
Step 1.
Check the ports for each device.
The ports are located at the back of the devices.
Step 2.
Connect the devices using the cables provided (in the device packaging boxes).
Step 3.
Connect StoreHub Prime (D2) and Archer C6 router to power outlets, then switch them on following this sequence:
Archer C6 router > CP-Q3 thermal printer > StoreHub Prime (D2)
Step 4.
From the main screen of the StoreHub Prime (D2) device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, connect the StoreHub Prime (D2) to Archer C6 router's Wi-Fi.
Tips: Look for W-Fi name that contains the word 'StoreHub'
Step 5.
Return to the main screen, click into StoreHub app.
Step 6.
Go to Settings.
Note: You'd need to activate the Register and open a Shift before you could go to Settings.
Step 7.
Select Printer, then press the ellipsis icon (...).
Step 8.
Select Search Printer.
Allow the device a few seconds to search for the printer.
Step 9.
Press into the printer as soon as it appears.
Step 10.
Toggle on Receipt (for receipt printing).
Step 11.
Return to Printer page, toggle on Always Print Receipt if you'd like the terminal to print receipt after each transaction is completed.
Step 12.
To make sure the printer is connected, press the ellipsis icon again.
Select Print Test Receipt.
If the printer prints, it means you've successfully set up the terminal.
As an alternative, the StoreHub Prime (D2) can work with a Bluetooth Thermal Receipt Printer as well.
