CRITERIA
► Which subscription plans will offer this?
Advanced, and Pro.
► Which platforms are supported?
iOS and Android.
► How are the QR Codes generated?
Upon applying, StoreHub will create unique QR Codes which are then emailed / printed and delivered to you (the merchant)*.
SETTING UP
► How do I set up Beep QR Ordering?
You can set up Beep QR Ordering from your BackOffice > Online Store > Collections.
► Is Price Books included?
No, but you can set your own prices via your BackOffice > Online Store.
► Do I need Internet connection?
Yes, you will need a constant Internet connection to ensure payments go through.
► Can BackOffice items be automatically populated into the menu?
No.
► Can I use special promotions?
You could use Take Amount Off, Take Percentage Off and Free Shipping! More information on setting these up can be found in this link.
If your intention is solely for Beep QR, do note that you would only need to select Beep QR in 'Apply to Channel' of your Promotions setup.
ORDERING
► Can I take multiple orders at the same time?
Yes.
PAYMENT
► How do my customers pay for my items?
GrabPay, Boost, MasterCard, Visa, FPX, Maybank2U, CIMB Clicks
► How do refunds work?
You will currently need to refund your customers in cash.
► Will my customers get an e-receipt to know what they paid for?
Yes, they will be able to view it at the Checkout page after they have made payment
► Is service charge included?
Service Charge can be included for table service.
► How do I check my transactions?
Transactions are saved in the iPad > Transactions > Online.
In the BackOffice, they are saved in Order Management.
You can then cross-check the receipt number.
REPORTING
► What does the sales/shift report at the end of the day look like?
Orders made on Beep are considered Online sales and currently NOT included in the sales/shift report.
LIMITATIONS
► What are some limitations of Beep QR Ordering at the moment?
- Your customers can add notes at their orders before making payment
- Your customers cannot edit their orders after making payment
- There are no online refunds. You'll need to refund using cash
- The transactions are not included in the shift report
