Contents of iSAP POS for assembly
What's in the box:
iSAPPOS Hardware set up
Secure the Base Plate and Stand with the M4 thumb screws found in the accessory box.
Align the base and stand properly, then place the screws in.
Connect the power cable (power adapter) to the DC port of the iSAP.
Next, attach the three-pronged plug of the adapter to a power source. The 'LED (Power)' light should turn on.
Insert the receipt paper roll.
Barcode Scanner set up
Connect the cable with the clip to the bottom of the scanner.
If you need to remove the cable, you'll need a long paperclip or clothes pin and push it into the small hole on the scanner's handle to release the cable. (Push the pin in and pull the cable out at the same time).
Connect the scanner's cable to the RS 232 male adapter, then the end of the R232 male adapter to the COM 1 port of the iSAP POS. The scanner will then beep quickly. There would be another connector provided to connect these 2 ports.
Scan the barcode below or go to Page 5 of the instruction manual that came in your iSAP POS box.
Then, press the trigger of the scanner to scan the first barcode, 'RS-232 standard interface'.
This will enable the standard mode of the scanner:
It can also be found on Page 5 in this link:
StoreHub software set up
On your iPad > Settings > Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is toggled ON:
To connect the iSAP POS to the StoreHub app (software), first locate the Pairing Button at the bottom of the iSAP POS.
Hold the Pairing Button until the printer is fully connected. Do not let go until the app is connected to the printer. This step is crucial!
Go to the StoreHub app > Settings > Printer > Search Printers.
Remember, you should still be holding the Pair button!
Key in '2234' when the device prompts for the code.
Again, you should still be holding the Pair button and let go only when pairing is successful.
Once it's connected, (you can let go of the Pairing Button) tap the name of the printer to toggle Receipt Printing ON.
Tap the name of the iSAP printer and Print a Test Receipt. That's it!
Finish iSAP POS Hardware set up
Make sure all your cables are in correctly and through the hole in the base plate before assembling the covers.
Place the cover back on the stand by matching the latches until they click into place.
Secure the back cover on the Base Plate with the coin screws found in the accessory box.
Place the iPad inside the casing (included) then slide the charger to fit inside the iPad. Place the iPad horizontally matching the lock grooves on the iSAP POS machine.
Place the Jacket onto the Stand's dock.
Lock / Unlock jacket.
When in unlocked mode, push the plastic latch to release the jacket.
When in locked mode, get a long paperclip and push it into the small hole above the latch to release.
If you turn off the iSAP POS's power source, or disconnect your barcode scanner from the iSAP POS, please ensure that you:
- Quit the app
- Connect the barcode scanner again
- Switch on the iSAP POS and wait for 5 seconds
- Open the StoreHub app
It is important that all peripherals (barcode scanners, external printers, iSAP POS) must be connected and powered on before the StoreHub app is opened.
Always On Mode (Optional)
This setting is suitable for stores that want to rest the barcode scanner on the stand, so that you can scan without touching the trigger.
Go to Page 18 of your manual and scan 'Scan Mode = Always On'
Look for 'Enable Stand Mode' barcode inside your scanner's box and scan that barcode.
