StoreHub users rejoice! Grant your customers the option to pay for items in your store by using Boost for speedier transactions!
With Boost as a payment option, you can receive payments from customers and have StoreHub app/BackOffice integration!
To get started with setting up Boost as your payment option, do refer to the steps below.
Setting up Boost in your BackOffice
Head to the BackOffice > Payment Option > + Add Payment Option > Name it 'Boost'.
Until a fix is announced, we recommend creating another payment option i.e. 'Boost (Manual)' or a similarly-named custom payment option.
This is especially useful when you are trying to accept a Boost payment and fail to receive the confirmation from the service provider. In such cases, please Cancel at the POS payment screen, then choose your custom payment option e.g. 'Boost (Manual)'.
On this same page, you'll need to fill up the 3 fields: Merchant ID, Outlet ID and POS ID.
These will be provided to you by Boost separately, so do check with them if you have not received this information yet.
Don't forget to Save and Sync your iPad Register!
Using Boost on the iPad Register
On your StoreHub iPad Register, proceed with the usual steps to checkout. When you reach the part to choose a method of payment, choose Boost.
A popup will appear for your customer to 'Scan QR Code' using the Boost app on their smartphone:
Once the customer scans the QR code, you as the merchant will receive the payment, and the transaction will also be visible in the StoreHub app > Transactions.
