If you need or prefer to have sequential receipt numbers enabled for your receipts, you can enable the setting from your BackOffice. This article will teach you how to do so!
This feature will enable sequential receipt numbers for ALL stores, so you won't be able to only choose certain stores to have this feature. This function is also NOT reversible, so you will not be able to undo the sequential receipt numbers.
Activating Sequential Receipt Numbers
Please make sure ALL your iPad Registers have been synced, the Shift has been closed and there are no pending Open Orders in any of your iPad Registers.
If you have any saved Open Orders that have not been checked out yet, please clear them before proceeding.
Next, go to the BackOffice > Settings > iPad Registers > Click into each register you have and press Deactivate. Make sure ALL registers are deactivated.
Finally, head to the BackOffice > Settings > Account > Danger Zone > Activate Sequential Receipt Numbers > Activate.
Note: Only the main account owner will be able to access the Danger Zone.
Once you press the the 'Activate' button, a popup will appear asking you to confirm this by typing in the word 'ACTIVATE' (in capital letters) in the space below.
Press Activate and you're done! You can now go back to your StoreHub app on your iPads and sign in to Activate them again.
