With StoreHub's Split Open Order feature, you can now split open orders for your customers directly from the app!
Note: Please be aware that Saved Open Orders will be removed from your iPad when you delete the app or deactivate the iPad Register. Do print out half-receipts (the orange printer icon) as a way to keep track of all your saved orders or complete your orders if possible before you delete the app or deactivate the iPad Register.
How to Split Open Orders Within the App
To split open orders, from your register screen, add items into your sales ticket and save the order (How to Save/Hold an Order).
Go to the open order page (How to Open Orders), and tap ‘Select’ on the top row.
Tap the order which you want to split, then tap SPLIT.
An empty, new tab called Split 1 will appear on the right. Add the product(s) you want to split into the new tab by tapping on the product(s) in the original tab on the left. You can remove products by tapping on the product name in the new tab.
Optional: You can rename the new tab by tapping Split 1.
To add more tabs for customers who are splitting the same order, tap ( + ) and add more products. You can also delete tabs by tapping ( x ) on the active Split tab (highlighted in white).
Once you’ve finished, tap DONE. You’ll now see that orders have been split and saved in open orders.
