Introduction
Now that your Bluetooth printer is connected, it's time to set up your printer on your StoreHub POS. Here's how:
Connect the Bluetooth Printer to your Register
Step 1.
Go to the iPad's Settings > Bluetooth and toggle the switch to enable Bluetooth (the switch color should be GREEN to indicate it's ON).
Step 2.
Wait until the iPad discovers 'Star Micronics', then tap on the name 'Star Micronics'.
Step 3.
At the back of your Bluetooth printer, press and hold the pair button until the light turns BLUE. The blue light indicates that the printer has been paired.
Step 4.
Now that the printer is paired with the iPad, go to the StoreHub app and sign in using your 4-digit PIN.
Step 5.
Tap the menu button on the left.
Step 6.
Select Settings.
Step 7.
Select Printer.
Step 8.
Tap Search Printers. You'll see a list of available receipt printers with their IP addresses.
Make sure you've selected the correct receipt template when searching for printers:
Step 9.
Select your printer, and toggle Receipt Printing ON (if you use Kitchen or Bar printers, turn those ON too).
Step 10.
Tap ‘Print Test Receipt’. If a piece of receipt paper is printed out, that means you have set up your printer successfully.
Note: Your iPad can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time, therefore if you cannot discover the printer on your iPad, it could be due to one of these reasons:
1. Your iPad has already been connected to a Bluetooth scanner.
2. The Bluetooth printer has previously been connected to a different device. Please un-pair the printer with the previous device.
